Regular Meeting Activities for Beavers

Every week the Beavers' troop meets at the 3rd Stoneleigh HQ for an hour of fun that also provides the opportunity to learn about the world around them.Each regular meeting has a theme and the sections below give some examples.

Noah's Ark
Beavers are able to make animals and then see how many they can fit into the 3rd Stoneleigh Ark (not that's there's any chance that it would float).

Outer Space
Beavers played meteorite hockey (with planets as the goals), made 'Lunar cakes', built rockets and had a 'Moon walking' game using stilts.

RSPCA
An evening centred around the work of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals including a talk by a knowledgeable person.

Bears
A meeting all about bears and including a 'Bear Hunt'.

Chinese New Year
To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Beavers had an evening focused on this festival, including making a Chinese dragon and having 'Noodle Chopstick' races!
